Nursing Clinics

Our nursing clinics are an area we are currently expanding at Peel Vets. There are two types of clinics available:

1. “Green Clinics” run by Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs) and trained and supervised/directed Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs). The services provided in these clinics vary widely to include things like anal gland emptying, second vaccinations, puppy/kitten clinics, advisory clinics and certain situations where medications are required to be administered.
2. “Blue Clinics” run by our nursing auxiliaries. These clinics are available for weight checks, assistance with dispensing routine parasite treatments, nail clipping and grooming tasks.

Many of the routine tasks undertaken by our vets can be undertaken at nursing clinics at a reduced fee. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like any further information about these clinics or the staff involved in them.
