Puppy Evenings at Peel Vets

Peel Veterinary Clinic is proud to present our Puppy Parties. They are to be run by our dedicated nursing staff, to help teach the basics of puppy care and training. The course will run over 4 weeks and be available to puppies after their 1st vaccine. We will have a maximum of 6 puppies per group, so if you are interested please contact reception.

As well as our nursing staff we will be visited by Ruth Bryant of Wagtails Canine services. Ruth is very experienced and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers; so is more than prepared for whatever your puppy can throw at her!

For most puppies they will leave mum and start their new lives at 8 weeks old. For some, mum and their litter mates are all they know of the world, and leaving them can be quite a scary ordeal. There are products to help with this transition, but mainly it is up to you as the new owner to present the world in a positive manner. Puppies are like sponges and the more positive experiences they have whilst they are young, the more balanced their attitude to life. Our puppy parties aim to help you with this by giving you the knowledge to give your pup the best start in life.

The first time we meet your new family member is usually at their first vaccine and the clinic can be a scary place with strange smells and needles. Our puppy parties are to help change your puppy’s experience of the vets, and help ease you in to puppy parenthood. They are designed to introduce your pup to new experiences in a positive way, so they can meet other puppies and people whilst exploring a new supportive environment.

We are here to talk to you about health care, vaccinations, neutering and much more. As well as listening to all your questions and concerns. If you are would like to know more or would like to book a place, please call or pop in and we will get you booked on to the next available course.
