Heather Trindall BVSc MRCVS

Veterinary Director

Heather worked as a nurse with us, before going to the University of Liverpool and graduating as a vet in 2006, returning to work with us again before becoming a director in 2015. She has a special interest in small animal medicine and is about to start working towards a post graduate certificate in this area. Heather also enjoys working with rabbits and other small mammals. Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her 3 cats.

Lynne Clare BVMS MRCVS

Veterinary Director

Lynne qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2005 and has worked with us ever since, becoming a director in 2015. She has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and enjoys working with our equine patients. Outside of work, Lynne enjoys competing her horse, Carrick, and spending time with her family.

Adela Taylor RVN

Practice Manager

Adela joined us in June 2018 as our Practice Manager. Adela is an experienced registered veterinary nurse, having worked with a variety of species of animals in the past. She enjoys working with our patients and managing the day to day running of the Practice.

Gemma Thomson BVMS MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Gemma joined the practice in August 2018, moving to Yorkshire from Scotland. She enjoys working in mixed practice but has a special interest in equine work.

Ugne Grigaliunaite DVM MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Ugne is passionate about all aspects of veterinary work, particularly enjoying working with equine patients. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, skiing and exploring nature.

Catherine Gordon BVM BVS MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Catherine joined us in October 2016 when she moved from West Yorkshire. Catherine enjoys the variety of work mixed practice brings and in her spare time, enjoys participating in arts and crafts hobbies.

Ana Devesa DVM MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Ana joined us in April 2016, having previously worked in Portugal. She has an interest in small ruminant medicine, but enjoys working with all species large and small.

Heike Kopac MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Heike Kopac MRCVS – Heike has worked with us on and off since 1991. She currently works part time with our small animal patients, but has previously worked in mixed practice here. She has a special interest in acupuncture having gained her Certificate in Safety and Competence in Acupuncture. She is also interested in small animal surgery.

Hannah Walker RVN

Registered Nurse

Hannah joined us in March 2018 and enjoys looking after all species but has a special interest in exotics and wildlife. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys looking after her dog, Bennett. Book a nurse appointment with Hannah today.

Sarah Gardener RVN

Registered Nurse

Sarah joined our team in 2007 having gained her NVQ level 2 in Animal Care, then trained and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016. She has a particular interest in exotics medicine and frequently cares for rescued wildlife and birds. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys socialising, dog walking and listening to music.

Katie has joined us for summer 2018 on placement from University and is proving to be popular with clients and patients alike! Katie enjoys working with all species but has particularly enjoyed meeting new puppies at the surgery.

Gemma George

Student Nurse

Gemma joined us in October 2015 and worked as a nursing auxiliary initially. She is currently in the first year or her training for her veterinary nurse registration and is thoroughly enjoying the new challenge. She looks after a wide variety of animals herself and enjoys helping to treat all species at the surgery.

Saff Bloom

Student Nurse

Saff enjoys working with pets at the surgery as well as getting out onto farms with our vets. After completing a NDip in Animal Management, she achieved her FDSc in Equine Sports Science and Rehabilitation. Her hobbies include show jumping with her horse and spending time with family and friends.

Kate Miller

Kate joined us in 2018 as a nursing auxiliary. She particularly enjoys working with our pet patients and meeting their owners!

Sophie Hardy

Nursing Auxiliary

Sophie, graduated from college with a BTEC in Animal Management.  Continuing on her career path with her love of animals, Sophie joined the nursing team in March 2018.  Although Sophie has only been with the practice for a few months, she is enjoying her work and getting to meet all the patients.  Sophie has her own cocker spaniel, two naughty cats and 3 little chickens.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her pets and socialising with friends and family.

Lauren Burnand

Lauren joined the team in March 2018.  She currently holds a diploma in Animal Management and is due to graduate in July with a BSC (hons) in Bio Veterinary Science.  Lauren is enjoying working with all the small animal patients, and is hoping to further her studies in the future.

Emma Andrews-Schmoekel

Emma joined us in 2017 having many years of experience as an auxiliary. She enjoys working with our small animal patients and is enjoying getting to know all our clients.

Talia Blans

Talia joined the team in 2017 and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of working with animals. She would like to train for her veterinary nursing registration in future. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and her pets.

Lizi Forbes

Lizi joined the practice in 2016 having previously worked with a variety of animals. She enjoys meeting both clients and patients and at home enjoys riding horses and spending time with her dogs and cat.

Michelle Millea

Nursing Auxiliary

Michelle began working with us in 2010 and particularly enjoys going on visits to farms with our vets. She holds a BSc(Hons) in Animal Health and Welfare and has undertaken training as a Pet Health Counsellor. Michelle enjoys socialising and spending time with her family.


Sarah Robinson-Huluba


Sarah joined us in 2017, working across both branches. She loves meeting all our patients and outside of work spends time with her family including her dog.

Lynne Foster-Thornburn


Many clients will remember Lynne as a nurse. However, following knee surgery, she has joined our reception staff. She enjoys working with our small animal patients as well as assisting our farmers. In her spare time, Lynne works on her family farm and walks her dogs.



Diane has been a member of our team since 2000. She adores cats and loves meeting our feline patients and looking after Dave the cat.

Judith Johnson


Judith joined our team in 1999 and has worked at the Hornsea branch ever since. She particularly likes meeting our canine patients.
