Heather Trindall BVSc MRCVS

Veterinary Director

Heather worked as a nurse with us, before going to the University of Liverpool and graduating as a vet in 2006, returning to work with us again before becoming a director in 2015. She has a special interest in small animal medicine and is about to start working towards a post graduate certificate in this area. Heather also enjoys working with rabbits and other small mammals. Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her 3 cats.

Lynne Clare BVMS MRCVS

Veterinary Director

Lynne qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2005 and has worked with us ever since, becoming a director in 2015. She has a particular interest in surgery, particularly soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, Lynne enjoys competing her horse, Carrick, and spending time with her family.

Maria Cabrera Garrote MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Maria joined us in September 2020 having previously qualified and worked in Spain. She thoroughly enjoys meeting all our patients of various species and has a particular love of surgery. Outside of work, Maria spends time with her new kitten.

Christos Garinis MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Christos is an experienced vet who joined us in September 2020. He is originally from Greece, however has worked in the UK before coming to Peel Vets. He enjoys both medical and surgical cases and working with a variety of species.

Heike Kopac MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Heike has worked with us on and off since 1991. She currently works part time. She has a special interest in acupuncture having gained her Certificate in Safety and Competence in Acupuncture. She is also interested in small animal surgery.

Melissa Baker RVN

Melissa joined us in 2020 and enjoys working with all species of pet animals.

Kimberleigh Green RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Kim has a passion for looking after patients with long term illnesses, often taking on poorly animals in need of a home. She loves working with dogs, cats and some of our more unusual patients!

Victoria Keaney RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Victoria joined us in June 2019. She qualified as an RVN in 2018, and quickly developed a passion for working with feline patients. Victoria completed CPD recently by ISFM as a cat friendly professional, she also has interest in dental procedures and has trained as an oral care nurse.

Hannah Walker RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hannah joined us in March 2018 and enjoys looking after all species but has a special interest in exotics and wildlife. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys looking after her dog Bennett, 2 cats and 2 ferrets.  Hannah enjoys running some of our nurse clinics including weight clinics, and our puppy parties.

Gemma George RVN

Registered Veterinary Nurse

Gemma joined us in October 2015 and worked as a nursing auxiliary initially. She has completed her RVN training and has just received her registration with the RCVS. She looks after a wide variety of animals herself and enjoys helping to treat all species at the surgery.

Evie joined us in early August 2020, to continue her training to be a registered veterinary nurse by undertaking a year in practice. She has not yet found her particular interest in veterinary work, but is enjoying finding out more about all aspects of practice life. Being part way through her course, she already has a wealth of knowledge and skills and is enjoying working with our team and patients.

Olivia Clubley

Student Nurse

Olivia was welcomed to our team in April 2019 as a nursing auxiliary. At the start of 2021, she began her studies as a student veterinary nurse. Olivia enjoys working with all species, but particularly enjoys working with large dog breeds.

Lauren Nicole

Student Veterinary Nurse

Lauren joined the team in March 2018.  She currently holds a diploma in Animal Management and graduated in July 2017 with a BSc(Hons) in Bioveterinary Science.  Lauren is furthering her education by currently studying to become an RVN.  Lauren is enjoying working with all the small animal patients.  In her spare time Lauren enjoys spending time with her partner and their Jack Russell, Willow .

Talia Blans

Talia joined the team in 2017 and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of working with animals. She is currently training to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and her cats.

Chelsea Johnson

Nursing auxiliary

Chelsea joined us in 2020, having always worked with animals. She quickly settled into practice life and has enjoyed meeting our patients and clients.

Michelle Millea

Nursing Auxiliary - Infection Control

Michelle began working with us in 2010 and can be found at both Beverley and Hornsea surgeries. Michelle enjoys socialising and spending time with her family.


Zaklin Wachowiak


Zaklin (pronounced Jacklin) has always enjoyed spending time with animals and has previously worked as a veterinary receptionist before coming to Peel Vets. When not at the surgery, she spends plenty of time with her horses.

Sarah Robinson-Huluba


Sarah joined us in 2017, working across both branches. She loves meeting all our patients and outside of work spends time with her family including her dog.

Lynne Foster-Thornburn


Many clients will remember Lynne as a nurse. However, following knee surgery, she has joined our reception staff. In her spare time, Lynne works on her family farm and walks her dogs.



Diane has been a member of our team since 2000. She adores cats and loves meeting our feline patients.
